Shipping, Delivery & Returns/Refund Policy
This Shipping, Delivery & Returns/Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases from
SimplyChems LLC (“SimplyChems,” “Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) made through
simplychems.us. By placing an order, the purchaser (“Buyer,” “Customer,” or “you”)
agrees to this Policy.

1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.
Processing time may include:
- Payment authorization and verification
- Fraud and risk screening
- Order review and compliance review
- Inventory confirmation
- Picking, packing, and label generation
- Preparation for carrier handoff
Processing time does not include carrier transit time.
An order may be considered in processing once order review begins, picking or packing begins,
and/or a shipping label is generated.
SimplyChems reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to delay, hold, cancel, or refuse any order
for fraud prevention, billing concerns, compliance concerns, inventory discrepancies, risk management,
suspected policy violations, or other lawful business reasons.
2. Shipping Carriers; Transit Time; No Guarantee
Once an order is transferred to the carrier, carrier transit time begins.
Transit times vary depending on destination, service level, carrier operations, weather, holidays,
peak volume, routing conditions, and other factors outside of SimplyChems’ control. Any transit timeframe
shown on the Website, at checkout, or in communications is an estimate only and is not guaranteed.
Shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
3. Tracking Updates; Scan Delays
Tracking information may not update immediately after label creation or carrier handoff.
A shipment may initially display statuses such as:
- “Label Created”
- “USPS Awaiting Item”
- Similar pre-scan or acceptance-pending statuses
These statuses generally mean the carrier has not yet completed the first acceptance or movement scan
within its system.
Tracking updates may take 24–48 business hours or longer to appear after drop-off or pickup depending
on carrier scanning operations. Delayed scans or incomplete scan histories do not, by themselves, mean
an order was not shipped or qualify the order for cancellation, refund, or chargeback.
4. Estimated Delivery Time
Estimated delivery time is the sum of:

Carrier Transit Time
All delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
SimplyChems is not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, weather, routing problems,
service interruptions, force majeure events, peak volume, customs activity, or other events outside
of our control.
5. Address Accuracy
Buyer is solely responsible for providing a complete, accurate, and deliverable shipping address
at checkout, including any apartment number, suite number, mailroom information, unit number,
access code details where applicable, and correct ZIP/postal code.
Orders are not eligible for refund, replacement, or reshipment at SimplyChems’ expense where delivery
issues arise from:
- Incorrect or incomplete address information entered by Buyer
- Failure to include apartment, suite, or unit information
- Refused shipments
- Failed delivery attempts caused by address or access issues
- Failure to retrieve a package from the carrier
- Delivery to a mailroom, parcel locker, reception desk, communal receiving area, or other third-party receiving location associated with the address provided by Buyer
If a package is delayed, returned, misdelivered, or otherwise affected because of address information
provided by Buyer, Buyer bears full responsibility.
6. Delivery Confirmation; Fulfillment; Risk of Loss
An order is considered fulfilled when the carrier’s tracking system reflects confirmed delivery to the
shipping address provided by Buyer at checkout.
Risk of loss transfers to Buyer upon confirmed delivery.
If carrier tracking reflects a status such as “Delivered,” the order is considered fulfilled.
SimplyChems is not responsible for theft, loss, tampering, misplacement, or retrieval issues occurring
after confirmed delivery, including issues involving porches, apartment complexes, shared mailrooms,
parcel lockers, reception areas, dormitories, business receiving areas, or similar third-party or communal
delivery locations.
SimplyChems may rely on carrier records, tracking history, delivery scans, geolocation scan data where
available, shipping records, and related fulfillment documentation in evaluating disputes and claims.
7. High-Value Orders; Signature Confirmation
For fraud prevention, risk control, and dispute reduction, SimplyChems may require Signature Confirmation
or other delivery safeguards for:
- Orders totaling $250 or more, including shipping and taxes
- Orders flagged by fraud or risk screening
- Orders requiring enhanced delivery verification for any other lawful reason
If signature service is required and delivery cannot be completed because no authorized recipient is
available, Buyer may be responsible for any reshipment fees, storage fees, redelivery charges, or related costs.
8. International Orders
If international shipping is offered or accepted, Buyer agrees that:
- Buyer is the Importer of Record
- Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that the order, importation, possession, and intended use are lawful in the destination jurisdiction
- Buyer is solely responsible for all duties, taxes, brokerage fees, customs fees, import charges, documentation requirements, and compliance obligations
- SimplyChems is not responsible for customs delays, inspections, holds, refusals, seizures, destruction, or non-delivery caused by customs authorities or foreign regulations
No refunds, replacements, or reshipments will be issued for customs-related issues except where required
by applicable law.
9. All Sales Final — No Returns — No Monetary Refunds
Due to the sensitive nature of laboratory research materials and the inability to verify storage conditions,
handling conditions, integrity, or chain of custody once an order has left our control:
All sales are final
Orders cannot be returned after shipment.
Returns are not accepted
Chain of custody cannot be verified once delivered.
No monetary refunds
Except where required by applicable law.
This includes, without limitation, no monetary refunds for:
- Buyer’s remorse
- Change of mind
- Ordering error by Buyer
- Delays within estimated delivery windows
- Tracking scan delays or limited tracking visibility
- Carrier delays outside our control
- Delivered packages
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping address entered by Buyer
- Refused shipments
- Failure to retrieve a package
- Customs issues
- Research outcomes, lab outcomes, testing results, or dissatisfaction with research results
10. Limited Exceptions; Replacement or Store Credit Only
The only exceptions to the no-return / no-monetary-refund policy are verified merchant or fulfillment
errors reported within the required timeframe below.
If an item arrives damaged in transit, incorrect, or missing from the package, Buyer must notify
SimplyChems within 72 hours of confirmed delivery.
The report must include reasonably sufficient supporting information, which may include:
- Clear photos of the product(s) received
- Clear photos of internal packaging
- Clear photos of the outer package, where relevant
- A clear photo of the shipping label
- A brief written description of the issue
Failure to provide timely notice or requested documentation may result in denial of the claim.
If SimplyChems verifies the issue, SimplyChems may, in its sole discretion, provide one of the following remedies:
- A replacement shipment
- Store credit
No monetary refund will be issued except where required by applicable law.
11. Returned-to-Sender Packages
If a package is returned to SimplyChems due to any of the following, the order is not eligible for refund:
- Incorrect or incomplete address
- Refused delivery
- Failed delivery attempts
- Failure to retrieve the shipment
- Inability of the carrier to complete delivery based on Buyer-provided address information
- Other delivery failure not caused by SimplyChems
At SimplyChems’ sole discretion, we may offer one of the following:
- Reshipment at Buyer’s expense, including payment of new shipping charges
- Store credit in an amount determined by SimplyChems, less original shipping charges and any non-recoverable costs
12. Order Cancellations
Buyer may request cancellation within 60 minutes of placing the order.
After that point, the order may enter review or processing and may no longer be eligible for cancellation.
An order cannot be canceled once processing has begun, including where any of the following has occurred:
- Fraud or compliance review has begun
- Inventory has been allocated
- Picking or packing has started
- A shipping label has been generated
- The shipment has been prepared for or transferred to the carrier
If a cancellation request is approved before processing begins, SimplyChems may deduct any non-recoverable
payment processing or transaction fees to the extent permitted by law.
13. Lost, Stolen, or Marked Delivered Shipments
If tracking reflects confirmed delivery, the order is considered fulfilled and is not considered lost for
purposes of refund, replacement, or chargeback.
SimplyChems is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery or for packages misplaced after confirmed
delivery at the address provided by Buyer.
If a shipment appears delayed or misdelivered before confirmed delivery, Buyer should first check with:
- Household members or building staff
- Mailrooms or parcel lockers
- Neighbors, where appropriate
- The carrier directly
SimplyChems may, but is not obligated to, assist by providing available shipment information or by directing
Buyer to the carrier’s claims or support process.
14. Payment Disputes; Chargebacks
SimplyChems maintains transaction, shipping, and fulfillment records, including where applicable:
- Timestamped acceptance of Terms and Policies
- IP address and timestamps
- Policy version accepted
- Billing and fraud/risk verification indicators
- Carrier tracking and delivery confirmation
- Related customer communications
Buyer agrees to contact SimplyChems first regarding any shipping or billing issue and provide a reasonable
opportunity to resolve the matter before initiating a payment dispute, chargeback, or claim with a bank
or payment processor.
SimplyChems may submit relevant records, communications, order history, tracking records, and delivery
confirmation to payment processors, issuing banks, carriers, fraud providers, marketplaces, law enforcement,
or other relevant parties in connection with dispute response, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
15. Relationship to Other Policies
This Policy is incorporated into and should be read together with the following:
- Terms and Conditions
- Privacy Policy
- Research Use Acknowledgment & Informed Consent Agreement
If there is a conflict between this Policy and another policy regarding shipping, delivery, cancellation,
fulfillment, return, replacement, refund, store credit, or risk-of-loss issues, this Shipping, Delivery
& Returns/Refund Policy controls as to those matters.
16. Governing Law
This Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles,
except to the extent otherwise required by applicable law or as otherwise governed by the controlling
Terms and Conditions.
17. Updates to This Policy
SimplyChems may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time of purchase will
govern that transaction unless otherwise required by applicable law.
